Hello.. I call myself the Energy Novice… well, because I am a novice! :) .  I am not an energy guru or civil engineer but I am pretty interested in all these technologies to make us all self-sufficient.  I’m just an average citizen with an average income with a home who wants to be as self-sufficient as possible.

I do plan to write a lot about alternative and renewable energies (solar, geothermal, bio and others) as well as post interesting ideas and see what others are coming up with in this field.

It definitely is an interesting topic and one in which all of us are pretty much affected by.
